About Dave

As a husband and father of two girls, I have plenty of experience being FLEXIBLE! I have also learned how to LISTEN. I spent 23 years on active duty in the Navy, with on my last tour at Oregon State University (Naval ROTC).   While at OSU, I worked to earn my Masters of Business Administration (MBA) and retired in 2005.  My family and I fell in love with the Willamette Valley, and with the opportunities for a home anywhere in the country before us, we decided to settle our family here in Albany.

    A career in real estate was something that I had never considered before the opportunity presented itself.  My good fortune at having developed a close relationship with the Conser family set the stage for my transition to this new adventure.  So I took on this new role as a REALTOR with enthusiasm, and a passion to help SERVE my clients with their real estate needs.  From my naval career, I bring the core values of HONOR, COURAGE, and COMMITMENT. 

    As the host of Real Estate Talk on KGAL 1580 AM, I spend every Saturday morning helping to educate the listeners in the mid-Willamette Valley about what is going on in the local real estate market, and give them the information they need in order to make good decisions.  I've been on the air since January 2007 and really enjoy the time I spend talking with other real estate professionals, lenders, escrow and title representatives, as well as local contractors, business people, and those associated with real estate. 

So, what does that mean to my clients?

     With an MBA, I have a background in marketing and finance that few, if any other REALTORS in the area can claim.  I understand technology, and how to use it effectively to help you. 

     My background is in SERVICE not in sales.  Think of me as your real estate consultant, and not a sales person.  My goal is to help you achieve your goals in finding the right home for you, or in being your best resource on how to effectively market and sell your home for the best price. 

     Many people talk about INTEGRITY in their advertising.  As an officer in the military for a career, I have lived it.  You can trust that I will always tell you the truth, even the hard truths that you may not want to hear.  If your home isn't selling, you need to know why, don't you?  If you can't trust your real estate consultant to tell you then you aren't being well served, are you?

     I know RELOCATION!  I have moved my family many times, and I know what it is like to pack up everything you own and move to a town you aren't familiar with.  Let me help make that difficult process easier for you.  Benefit from my experience.
